41st Fajr Int'l Film Festival declares winners in national, international sections

Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Republic of Iran has held the 41st Fajr International Film Festival to commemorate the 44th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, and the organizers of the 41st Fajr International Film Festival have announced the winners of the international sections on February 11.

The winners of the international section are as follows:

  • Resistance Award:

– Best Film Award: “Strange”, Directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi

– Crystal Symorgh for Best Film: “Mud Room”, Directed by Mohammad Asgari

  • Interfaith Award:

– Best Film Award: “Hook”, Directed by Hossein Rigi

Eastern Vista (Films from Asian-Islamic Countries):

Crystal Symorgh for Best Artistic Achievement: Sobhan Rakhshani

Crystal Symorgh for Best Script: “God’s Gift”, Directed by Asel Zhuraeva (Kyrgyzstan)

Crystal Symorgh for Best Director: “HARHUU”, Directed by Buyan Khishig (China)

Special Jury Award: “The Sage”, Directed by Basil Alkhatib (Syria)

The jury of 41st Fajr International Film Festival comprised of Parviz Sheikh Tadi, Majid Esmaeili, Ebrahim Hatami Kia, Parviz Mohammad Razavi, Mohammad Taqi Fahim, Masoud Naqashzadeh and Mohammad Reza Sharifinia announced winners on Saturday (February 11, 2023) as follows:
