Syeda Shehla Raza told IRNA on Saturday that the achievements of the Islamic Republic in different fields have been unique in spite of the sanctions imposed on the nation.
Felicitating the 44th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, she said that the Islamic Revolution promoted the ideas of independence, freedom, and self-confidence among other freedom-seeking nations.
The Pakistani people respect the Iranians’ resilience to achieve independence and victory in the face of foreign meddling such as the unilateral sanctions, she said, noting that we will never forget the important role of the Iranian women in giving a boost to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
The official, who took part in the first international congress of influential women in Tehran, appreciated Iranians’ extraordinary hospitality as well as the efforts made by Iran’s consulate in Karachi to pave the way for the trip.
According to the Pakistani politician, the Islamic Republic has provided women with the needed atmosphere to grow and play a role, so Iranian women are shining in different political, economic, and social arenas, especially at international and diplomatic levels, which is contrary to the allegations leveled by the West and certain foreign media outlets.
She also noted that Pakistan is ready to exchange delegations with Iran in terms of empowering women and addressing their challenges.
