Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Guinea Alpha Soumah, who visits Tehran. The two officials held talks on issues of mutual interests, including political, cultural, scientific and economic interactions between the two countries, in a Wednesday afternoon meeting.
The Iranian FM underlined the importance of exchanging delegations between Guinea and Iran.
He also emphasized that holding joint commissions between the two states will help expand economic exchanges, expressing hope that Guinea and Iran will put on the agenda preparations for joint commissions.
Alpha Soumah, for his part, expressed hope that his trip to Tehran will pave the way for developing relations in different arenas.
The Guinean minister underlined the need for expansion of bilateral ties, hoping that his country would be able to enjoy Iranians’ expertise and experience in development projects of the West African country.
The culture minister also expressed hope that joint commissions would be held between the two countries in the near future.
