Speaking on Tuesday at the ceremony of receiving credentials of the new ambassador of Uruguay to Tehran Beraldo Roque Nicola Flaniguen, President Raisi said that the existence of diverse mutual capacities would allow the two countries to promote their cooperation to higher levels.
Pointing out that the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to expand cooperation with Latin American countries, including Uruguay, he noted that there are appropriate grounds for the activation of mutual capacities, whose realization requires a double effort by the authorities of the two countries.
Beraldo Roque Nicola Flaniguen, for his part, described the existing mutual ties between Iran and Uruguay as friendly, and called for strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the field of economy and trade.
