In an interview with IRNA on Wednesday, the Syrian deputy minister said that Iran is making efforts to resolve newly-emerged disputes in the region through its foreign policy. But, he added, the impacts of the “negative” role the US is playing in the region are hampering those efforts.
He expressed assurance that Iran can resolve the challenges it is currently facing, thanks to its foreign policy agenda which is based on cooperation with regional countries and reducing foreign interference.
The Islamic Republic News Agency conducted the interview with the senior Syrian official on the first day of the ten-day celebrations for the 44th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
