On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Jesus Christ and the New Year, a conference entitled "Convergence of Divine Religions to Achieve a Peaceful World" was held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Peshawar hosted by the Iranian Cultural Center in Peshawar.
This conference was held with the presence of the special assistant of chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the northwest of Pakistan, prominent scholars of this Province, as well as Christian and Hindu, as well as Islamic scholars.
Director General Cultural Center of Islamic Republic of Iran Peshawar, Mehran Eskandarian in his remarks in the conference said that all human beings and all divine prophets in different eras of history have tried to convey the divine mission of prosperity and happiness through their religious teachings.
He added that they have been messengers of happiness and well-being for humanity.
The pastor of Peshawar Presbyterian church, Shahrazad Murad, in his remarks said in the conference that the coexistence of different ethnic, racial and religious communities is one of the most important issues of human societies today, and nowadays we witness the freedom of all religions, and we we must model the freedom and security of this Pakistan as well.
