Pres. Raisi urges certainty of taking revenge on blood of Martyr Soleimani

Tehran, IRNA - Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said on Tuesday that the assassination of Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani will not be forgotten, and taking revenge on the blood of Martyr Soleimani is certain.

The ceremony for the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani began in Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on Tuesday with the participation of a number of Iranian officials and Resistance figures, as well as people in Tehran's Mosalla.

President Raisi delivered a speech at this ceremony here in Tehran.

Referring to Martyr Soleimani's developmental vision, President Raisi said that the first step in Martyr Soleimani's school was his personal development which led to the development of society.

Martyr Soleimani broke US grandeur in the world, President Raisi said, adding that the arrogant powers seek to eliminate the nation’s identity and look forward to depleting young people from identity and injecting their own identity.

Raisi stated that Martyr Soleimani was both an identity-building element and a revivalist of Islamic identity in the region.

Addressing the US and the enemies of the Islamic Revolution, President Raisi underlined that just like General Soleimani who created Resistance in the region, today, the Iranian youth will stand against arrogant powers until the end.

Saying that the assassination of Martyr Soleimani will not be forgotten, he stressed that taking revenge on the blood of Martyr Soleimani is certain.

Stating that the enemy has used all its power with various kinds of facilities, including military, cyber, media, political and economic war, the Iranian president underscored that the great nation of Iran has defeated the enemies in all wars by following insightful guidance from the revolution leader.

US terrorists assassinated General Soleimani, the commander of the Qods Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), along with their companions by targeting their vehicles outside Baghdad International Airport on January 3 on a direct order from US President Donald Trump.
