Head of the Article 10 of the law on how political parties and groups operate Abdollah Moradi pointed to the initiation of the eighth round of activities of the House of Parties of Iran, noting that the draft law is scheduled to be reviewed by the House of Parties of Iran as well.
The officials from the Ministry of Interior and representatives from the House of Parties have held a positive meeting in this respect, Moradi said.
The contributors in the session also discussed the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi's attitude to political vitality, he noted, adding that parties and factions presented their problems and activities as well.
Moradi described the House of Parties as one of the most political entities in the social community, arguing that the draft law on gatherings and demonstrations, which has been compiled at the Interior Ministry, will be presented to the House of Parties in order to review the draft as an advisory wing with the aim of organizing the right to protest by the use of a political union and that the capacity of the House of Parties would be utilized to this end.
The legal regulations for holding lawful gatherings have been provided in the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but there has not been any executive instruction for the law, he noted.
The representatives of the Interior Ministry and the House of Parties have underlined that political parties can hold their general assemblies, he said, adding that the ministry is prepared to help hold such assemblies.
