President Ebrahim Raeisi on Sunday warned that the Iranian government would seriously deal with those who seek to distrust economy.
-- “Any attempt to create despair to destabilize the country's economic system or distress the public opinion should be dealt with seriously,” Raeisi said at the 62nd the ordinary and extraordinary assembly of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
Ample evidence given to Iraq about terror activities in Kurdistan: Envoy
-- Iran’s Ambassador to Baghdad Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq said Tehran had provided Iraqi officials with dozens of evidence about terrorist activities in Iraqi Kurdistan and attacks on Iranian military sites from the semi-autonomous region.
“Some of our vital military centers have been attacked from the Iraqi Kurdistan region’s soil and we have informed the Iraqi side, both the authorities of the Iraqi Kurdistan region and the central government in Iraq, of this issue. We [provided them] with maps and documents, and they understood this reality,” Al-e Sadeq told Iran’s Arabic-language television news network Al-Alam TV.
-- Iranian, Ukrainian experts meet to discuss drones
Experts from Iran and Ukraine have met to discuss allegations about the alleged use of Iranian-made attack drones in Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, a spokesperson from the Foreign Ministry in Kyiv told CNN on Tuesday.
“Such an expert meeting did take place. I cannot disclose the details,” said Oleg Nikolenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ukraine and the West have accused Iran of supplying Russia with hundreds of drones to be used in the war. Iran has time and again rejected the allegation, saying it only gave a limited number of pilotless planes to Russia months before the outbreak of the conflict and not for the use in the Ukraine war.
