Jalali told IRNA on Friday that the 16th Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission, which was held in Grozny, Russia, from October 29 to November 1 helped the two countries to decide on the bilateral ties within the next year and also the venue of the next meeting in Iran.
During the meeting, the two sides also signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs), the first one was over a loan for Incheh Borun-Garmsar railway project, the second one related to health cooperation, and the third one was concerning to APC project for transfer of products, the ambassador said.
According to the diplomat, Russia and Iran collaborate in different sectors, including baking and financial affairs, energy and logistics.
Business, commercial, banking, transit, logistical, industrial, cultural, academic, tourism, energy, standards, labor and social welfare, free zones are among issues, which are being discussed in the joint economic issues, he noted.
The commission includes 10 working groups in Iran, who held joint webinar and then, their chairmen traveled to Russia, he added.
Jalali also evaluated the 16th joint economic commission as positive, expressing hope that the decisions will be implemented in the future.
