According to the CAOI communique, after Lufthansa airline announced that corpse was found aboard its Airbus 340 plane, flight number 601 in its Tehran-Frankfurt flight, on October 27th, Lufthansa had in an electronic contact after that incidence with the Iranian aviation officials and the airport asked for temporary halting of its flights to Iran.
"Accordingly, the security workgroup of Imam Khomeini International Airport immediately arranged for an urgent meeting to survey the issue, but since the German officials have not yet officially announced their viewpoints about the event, the Lufthansa flights to Imam Khomeini International Airport are resumed," added the statement.
The CAOI has also said that after receiving the official report of authorized German aviation officials the CAO, too, will start joint investigation.
