Afghanistan’s Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on his Twitter account on Friday that the Islamic Emirate strongly condemns the brutal attack and shooting on worshippers and pilgrims in Shiraz, Iran, and expresses solidarity with the families of victims and all Iranian people.
He also tweeted that Takfiri-oriented sowing discord has targeted innocent people in Afghanistan in several occasions and that they (Takfiri terrorists) are enemies of Islam and Muslims.
On Wednesday (October 26) a terrorist armed with a machinegun opened fire on the pilgrims and evening prayer worshippers at the Shah Cheraq holy shrine in Shiraz, martyred 15 innocent people, including some women, children and elderly folks, and seriously wounding tens of others.
The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the heinous act.
