Iranian woman jeweler wins gold medal in WorldSkills Competition 2022

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian woman, Razieh Jalili, was awarded the gold medal in the WorldSkills Competition 2022 in jewelry in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to the official website of the WorldSkills Competition 2022, this competition is the replacement for WorldSkills Shanghai 2022, canceled in May due to the pandemic.

Accordingly, 62 skill competitions are being held over 12 weeks in 15 countries and regions between September 7 and November 26.

Skill competitions in twenty-six cities in 15 countries and regions across Europe, North America, and East Asia.

Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare Gholamhossein Hosseininia said to IRNA on Tuesday that Jalili was the only Iranian woman who was in the WorldSkills Competition 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland, and was awarded the gold medal in jewelry.
