The minister explained that the plan helps boost economic relations between Iran and other countries at the state level as well.
He made the comments while speaking with reporters during a visit to a production unit in Gonbade-e-Kavous Industrial Town in the northern Golestan Province.
Fatemi Amin said that the Iranian provinces of Isfahan, Markazi and Golestan have already signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation with three Russian provinces.
He added that in order to further expand economic relations with other countries, the government plans to open trade centers there.
