Tehran prosecutor Mohammad Shahriari said on Wednesday that residents of a building near Amirakram crossroad found a body in the yard of their building at 7:30 local time on September 21.
Then, they inform police as soon as possible, the prosecutor said, adding that police forces found out that the young girl named Nika Shakarami had fell down from an adjacent building.
Following forensic examinations showed that there was no sign of bullets in her body, but she had injuries because of falling down, he added.
Neighbors said that they heard a sound at 3 am in the early morning, but they did not find out someone was falling down, the official noted, adding that footages of cameras in the neighborhood showed that the girl pushed the door of a building under construction to enter.
All workers in the under-construction building were investigated and the judicial forces continue investigation, he added.
Certain social media users and anti-Iran media outlets claimed that Nika Shakarami was killed by police officers in Tehran.
