Elham Hosseini said that 212 square meters of the province's hand-woven carpets, including carpets, carpet tableaus, and Gabbeh have been exported to Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, and Japan in the form of Carry-on luggage from the customs of the country.
This year's carpet exports have grown by more than 100% compared to the same period a year ago, she added.
Golestan Province is one of the 31 provinces of Iran, located in the northeastern Iran and to the southeast of the Caspian Sea with Gorgan as its provincial capital.
