In addition to the commanders and veteran soldiers of the Holy Defense, a group of the families of the martyrs of the Holy Defense have also attended the meeting.
The Holy Defense is the title used in Iran to refer to the war between Iran and Iraq which began on September 22, 1980 and ended in August 20, 1988.
