During the meeting, the Kazakh minister highlighted Khazakhstan's Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Iran and the agreements signed during the visit.
Kydyrali said that Kazakhstan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and many Iran-made films has broadcast in Kazakhstan’s TV channels.
The minister thanked Imanipour for his contribution to the Seventh Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
He said that Iran and Kazakhstan have joint studies on the great 10th century Islamic philosopher Al-Farabi and many Kazakh studies on this great figure have been carried out in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Imanipour underscored the opening of Iran department in the library of Kazakhstan’s National Academy of Science and vowed to supply more resources to be used by Kazakh scholars.
He also said that Iran's National Library was ready to exchange digital resources with the library of Kazakhstan's National Academy of Sciences.
