Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s summit in the Uzbek city of Samarkand.
Earlier on Thursday, Raisi also met his counterparts from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the secretary general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Iranian president arrived in Samarkand on Wednesday to attend the 22nd SCO heads of states summit.
