The device offers 99 percent effectiveness and can disinfect small- and medium-sized places in a short time, Vice-Chairwoman of Petrofarzan Sara Hakkak told IRNA on Sunday.
According to Hakkak, the Iranian-produced device is capable of detecting people's presence in places where it is used.
The UVC safe violet device has no foreign equivalent, the vice-chairwoman said, adding that the device can kill microorganisms like fungi, viruses, and bacteria, including tuberculosis, hepatitis, influenzas, HIV, SARS, COVID-19, and many other agents, thanks to leveraging UV technology.
