--Iranian Army’s Ground Force kicks off two-day exercises
The Iranian Army’s Ground Force on Wednesday started two-day maneuvers, dubbed Eqtedar (Strength) 1401, in the central city of Nasrabad.
Commenting on the drills, the maneuvers’ spokesman Second Brigadier General Amir Cheshak said on the same day they are aimed at assessing and increasing the army units’ preparedness in the face of new threats.
Also on the sidelines of the drills and in an address to a number of the commanders of the army’s ground force on Wednesday, Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said the exercises have been planned and are carried out in concord with future wars and predicted threats.

Iran’s top general warned of the ramifications of the growing military coordination between the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and the Israeli military, saying the Islamic Republic interprets the development as a direct threat to its national security.
Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri said the US military has tried to compensate for the withdrawal of its aircraft carriers, helicopter carriers, and destroyers from the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman by connecting the Israeli military to its Central Command (CENTCOM), which Iran has designated as a terrorist organization.

Iran's non-oil exports to neighbors in the five months since the start of the Persian year on March 21 rose 27% year-on-year to $10.7 billion, the customs office said.
More than 33.3 million tons of non-oil goods worth $20.6 billion were exchanged between Iran and its 15 neighbors in the period, spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said on Wednesday. Iran’s overall non-oil trade in the period stood at $42.5 billion.

A high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Wednesday Iran has managed to defeat the enemy at a distance of more than a thousand kilometers away with the help of artificial intelligence.
Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, said during a ceremony at Khajeh Nasir al-Din Toosi University of Technology here that Iran holds the upper hand in the field of aerospace and is now a strong and formidable player.

--Iran Army kicks off drills in Isfahan
The Iranian Army’s Ground Forces announced Wednesday the start of military exercises involving various units in the central province of Isfahan. The drills, codenamed Authority 1401, are held in Isfahan’s Nasrabad region and will last for two days.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, said on Wednesday that Iran has advanced in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and has no other alternatives other than working on space programs.
Hajizadeh made the remarks during the visit of the chancellor, professors and highly talented students of Khajeh Nasiruddin Tusi University to the IRGC Aerospace Force National Science and Technology Park.
--Russia appoints new ambassador to Iran
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali has announced that Russia has appointed a new envoy to Iran. The new Russian ambassador, Alexey Dedov, will replace Levan Dzhagaryan, one of the longest serving Russian diplomats in Iran.
Jalali broke the news on Twitter after meeting the newly-appointed Russian ambassador.
