Zionist daily annoyed with Arab states’ plan to repair ties with Iran

Tehran, IRNA – The Zionist regime’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper has shown its annoyance with regional Arab countries, who have decided to repair relationships with the Islamic Republic of Iran amid hopes for the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal.

The ynetnews.com wrote in a report that the Vienna talks and potential agreement between the P4+1 group (Britain, France, Russia, China plus Germany) with Iran sends the signal to Arab countries that in fact how their main ally in the Western world – the US – is weak.

The Yedioth Ahronoth pointed to the complexity of relationships between Iran and the Arab littoral states of the Persian Gulf, writing that in the situation that the Israeli officials are shouting on the danger of reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Arab states of the Persian Gulf are speaking about it covertly.

While Tel Aviv encounters the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a zero-sum game, the Arab nations’ attitude towards Iran consists of a sort of political duality, the newspaper claimed.

According to the daily, the most Arab governments know that they are not able to stand against Iran; so, they prevent from any conflict with the country and seek to maintain relationship with the Islamic Republic.

The Tel Aviv-based newspaper also alleged that Egypt and Jordan are concerned about expansion of Iran’s regional influence.

The Zionist media also noted that the Arab littoral states of the Persian Gulf region show enthusiasm on the removal of anti-Iran sanctions, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), because they restoration of the JCPOA will pave the way for improvement of trade with the Islamic Republic.

Yedioth Ahronoth evaluated the signing of the nuclear deal with Iran as an attempt to legitimize Iranians’ nuclear program, and that the potential accord will provide the Islamic Republic with an opportunity to increase its regional influence.

However, the Arab states’ interest in repairing relationship with Iran indicates the Zionist regime’s failure in promoting the countries to stand anti-Iran position.

While the talks for removing anti-Iran sanctions and returning to the JCPOA have reached a determining stage, the Zionist regime has mounted its efforts in a bid to get in the way of finalizing the nuclear negotiations.

Tehran has time and again underlined that Washington as the creator of the current situation in implementing the JCPOA should take responsibility and make amends for the problems in order to pave the ground for reaching a stable and reliable agreement.
