He said that the MoU has been signed in line with the policies of the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi for the enhancement of economic cooperation with regional and Eastern Asian countries.
The minister said that after intensive talks between Iran and China for several months, the two countries finalized and signed two important documents today.
Sadatinejad said that one of the documents is about the exports of Iranian fresh citrus to China which provides Iran with first-ever time access to the Eastern Asia country’s $600 million market of citrus.
He also said that the second document was also a health obligation protocol for exports of Iranian high-quality honey to China.
The minister noted that Iran is currently exporting as much as $500 million of agricultural products to China which is several times higher than the figures of the past years.
