The meeting will take place on the sidelines of the 6th summit of the heads of state of the Caspian Sea littoral states, reported Russian Sputnik News Agency citing Yuri Viktorovich Ushakov, Assistant to the Russian President for Foreign Policy.
Raisi and Putin last time met in the Russian capital Moscow in January 2022.
The Wednesday meeting marks the second one between the two presidents since Raisi took office in August 2021.
President Raisi is also scheduled to hold separate meetings with his counterparts from other participating countries in the summit.
The summit brings together heads of states from the five littoral states of the Caspian Sea; namely, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan Republic.
