Iraqi Speaker arrives in Tehran to meet senior officials

Tehran, IRNA – Iraq’s Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi arrived here on Wednesday morning to meet senior Iranian officials.

Al-Halbousi who is heading a delegation was welcomed by Ali Nikzad, a member of Parliament’s presiding board.

The Iraqi Speaker first traveled to Iran in 2019 and this is his second Iran visit.

Al-Halbousi is going to meet Iran’s president, Parliament speaker, foreign minister, and secretary of Supreme National Security Council.
