Iran’s embassy reacts to The Time’s “Iranophobic” report

London, IRNA – Iran’s Embassy in London responded to The Time’s anti-Iran report, saying that the Iranian civilizational and historic identity cannot be distorted.

The Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf are safe for all the people and the 2022 Qatar World Cup fans who wish to visit Iran enjoying free visa to be granted to spectators, the embassy said in a tweet on Thursday.

Contrary to the Iranophobic propaganda run by The Times, Iran and its islands in the Persian Gulf are safe for all including Britons & W/Cup fans from around the world to enjoy of beauties of this land.

The Iranian civilizational and historical identity cannot be distorted by Times.

The embassy was responding to a report in The Time that tried to paint a black picture of Iran after Iran announced that World Cup fans who travel to the hosting Qatar could receive free visa to visit Iran.
