Speaking in a meeting with Bolivian Ambassador to Iran Romina Guadalupe Pérez Ramos, Esmaili said that Iran’s Islamic Revolution has a cultural nature and the Iranian leaders have always stressed cultural issues.
He described the occupiers and colonialists’ oppression in Latin America as a bitter experience.
He underlined Iran’s interest in developing cultural and artistic relations with Bolivia.
Meanwhile, Ramos said that Bolivia is after developing relations with Iran in the framework of signing cultural agreements.
She referred to agreements with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
She noted that these agreements are aimed at promoting Iranian culture in Bolivia.
She went on to say that Western media are seeking to wage psychological war and media campaign against Iran and are trying to tarnish Iran’s image.
She expressed readiness for holding cultural events aiming to introduce Iran’s culture.
She stressed joint cooperation in films, plays, and training courses courses.
She suggested establishing Iran-Bolivia friendship houses to teach language, cultural, and artistic topics.
