In his message, Qalibaf has expressed certainty that based on both countries’ support and backing, the two nations and countries’ comprehensive relations and cooperation will expand more than ever before.
“The parliamentary cooperation is major part of Tehran-Baghdad friendly relations and it will lead to further strengthening of comprehensive bilateral ties,” added Qalibaf in his message.
He also invited his Iraqi counterpart to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran at his earlier convenient opportunity.
Mohammed al-Halbousi was reelected as the Iraqi Parliament Speaker on Sunday with 200 positive votes.
