The focus of the talks in Muscat is to explore ways to expand mutual relations in various political, economic, and cultural fields, as well as to consult on important issues in the region.
Earlier today on Monday, Amirabdollahian said upon his arrival in Muscat that the Islamic Republic of Iran was seeking to have a good relationship with its neighbors in the Persian Gulf region to strengthen neighbors' network.
The Iranian foreign minister said that Iran was interested in upgrading political and cultural relations with Oman to high levels of economic and business cooperation.
The top Iranian diplomat, meantime, said that Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan have signed a quadripartite agreement to revive the transit line.
