Martyr Soleimani great hero of entire Muslim world: Pakistani scholar

Islamabad, IRNA -- Pakistani religious scholar said martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was not only a hero of the Islamic Republic of Iran but the entire Muslim world.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naimi head of 'Jamaat Ahle Haram’ in an interview with IRNA said martyrdom of Qasem Soleimani is a huge and irreparable loss for the Muslim Ummah.

He noted that General Soleimani had defeated all plans of Zionist regime and other enemies of Islam through his visionary and courageous policy.

“He followed the true spirit of Islam under the principles of the Islamic Revolution,” added the religious scholar.

He said General Soleimani was a hero of the entire Muslim world and his martyrdom had caused a huge loss to the Ummah.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naimi said no doubt that the Zionist regime is the biggest enemy of Islam and targeting Muslims under the protection of the US.

He went on to say that the US has assigned the task of creating divide among Muslim countries of the region to the Zionist regime.

“Unfortunately some Arab countries of the region are forwarding the agenda of the US in the region,” the scholar regretted.

He went on to say assassination of General Qasem Soleimani is illegal and violation of all international laws.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naimi said the international community and the international court of justice must take notice of the attack on Gen. Soleimani, especially after the confession of Zionist intelligence official of their involvement in the deadly strike.

IRGC Quds force commander Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and the Deputy Commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), known as Hash al-Shaabi, Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes were martyred by the US in targeted airstrike against their motorcade in Baghdad airport on 3rd January 2020.

As a result of this White House terrorist act, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired several ballistic missiles at the US base of Ain al-Assad in Iraq's Al-Anbar province which caused huge losses to the American forces.
