“On the second anniversary of their martyrdom, the good memories of martyrs Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and Iraq’s guest, Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani "we commemorate their memories, and that their honorable stances in confrontation with the terrorist and foiling their ominous plots immortalized their names and memories in the souls and minds of the Iraqi and other freedom loving nations," wrote Hakim in the website of his affiliated movement.
He wrote that the Iraqi nation learned from the martyrdom of those two commanders the need for unity both in internal politics and in the challenges ahead.
“Retreating from party and group stances to safeguard the national interests and the fate making interests of the country aimed at establishment of a solid national government, and a powerful parliament, free from political preservations, with a supervision and law-making mission, are all results of the martyrdom of those noble martyrs,” added the prominent Iraqi personality.
The leader of Iraqi National Wisdom Movement prayed for the salvation of the souls of the entire martyrs and the hoisted flag of justice and righteousness.
