Islamic world should be grateful to Martyr Soleimani: Pakistani scholar

Lahore, IRNA -- A well-known Pakistani researcher terming General Qassem Soleimani a symbol of resilience said the Muslim nations should be grateful to the self-sacrifices of this great hero of Islam.

Dr. Tariq Sharifzada, senior researcher and CEO Seerat TV in an interview with IRNA on Sunday said before the martyrdom, Soleimani was known as a hero for the Iranian nation, but after his assassination the world witnessed the sacrifices of this heroic commander.

“Martyr Soleimani is a hero for all nations,” he said.

Sharifzadeh added that undoubtedly, the actions of Martyr Soleimani in the fight against oppression and terrorism are examples of defending the rights of the oppressed and fighting the arrogant powers.

“That is why the anti-Islamic and colonial forces joined hands to assassinate him,” he pointed out.

This Sunni figure and expert on religious affairs, stated: General Soleimani is a hero and a model of loyalty for the young generation, especially the Islamic youth, and this has caused the enemies to fear the popularity of the character of this high-ranking martyr.

He stated Martyr Soleimani played a significant role in promoting the status of Islam and the awakening of Muslims, so we and all Muslims in the world should be grateful to him.

The Pakistani researcher stressed the Islamic world should not forget this beloved and devoted hero because only the nations that do not forget their beloved myths and leaders and continue their path will remain.
