President Raisi: ISIS terrorists after completing occupiers’ defeated mission in Afghanistan

Tehran, IRNA - Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi after condoling on martyrdom and getting injured of a number of worshipers in Friday Prayer in Kandahar, Afghanistan, said” The ISIS terrorists are after completing the western occupiers’ defeated mission in Afghanistan.

President Raisi made the comment in his Sunday cabinet meeting after introducing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Special Envoy on Afghanistan Affairs Hassan Kazemi-Qomi, adding that the objective of such terrorist acts is sowing the seeds of discord among Muslims, warmongering, and religious bloodshed.

"One more time, the terrorists broke the heart of the Prophet of Islam, so I hereby condole with the brother Afghan nation, and invite the Islamic world scholars and the concerned international organizations to pay heed to the miseries of our Afghan brothers and sisters," added President Raisi.

"The increased terrorist acts are in line with the strategic objectives of the United States in Afghanistan, and therefore the rulers in that country are expected to act in accordance with their responsibilities and not ignore the need to provide for peaceful life amid security for the Afghan nation," added the president.
