Armenia's ambassador to Iran and a group of traders were welcomed the governor of Susa to visit the cultural heritage treasures of the city, the Susa Museum, the historical monuments, Apadana, Darius Palace, the Royal City, the Fifteenth City, Susa Castle, and the Chogha Zanbil World Temple.
During a two-day visit to Khuzestan Province, the Armenian ambassador visited some fish farms, sugarcane factories, and antiquities in the province.
Susa is an Iranian ancient city located between the Karkheh and Dez Rivers in Iran. Susa was the capital of Elamite and the Achaemenid empires. The city kept its importance during the Parthian and Sasanian periods, as well.
