Qalibaf urges international societies to condemn terrorist act in Afghanistan

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Parliament Speaker in a condolence message on sad martyrdom and injury of a large number of innocent worshipers in a mosque in Kunduz, Afghanistan, asked the international community to not only condemn the heinous act, but also introduce terrorists’ financial and spiritual supporters and put them to trial.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has in his condolence message on the occasion said that the criminal hands of the silly terrorists once again in line with their anti-Islamic, and Islamophobia moves, was stained with the blood of innocent worshipers.

“This act, amid the silence of the international society, and the phony supporters of the human rights, pursues no objective but sowing the seeds of discord, and creating horror and hopelessness in the hearts of the people of Afghanistan, which breaks the hearts of every noble human being,” added the Iranian Parliament Speaker.

He has also condoled with the great Afghan nation and their representatives on the sad occasion of the terrorist act in Kunduz, and prayed to Almighty Allah for peace of mind and great patience for the bereaved family members of the terrorist act victims and full recovery of the injured people.

The suicidal attack against a Shi’a Muslims’ mosque in Kunduz led to martyrdom of 46 worshipers and severely injuring 143 others according to some reports, while the local authorities have said that the number of the dead victims is 60 and 140 people have been injured.
