Amirabdollahian: 13th Government ready for serious leap in relations with Russia

Moscow, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said here on Tuesday night that the 13th Iranian Government is ready for taking a serious leap forth in Tehran-Moscow relations.

Amirabdollahian, who was speaking for a group of managers of Iranian foundations in Moscow, further reiterated the 13th Government and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s viewpoints regarding relations with Russia is implementing the will of the Supreme Leader in his strategic viewpoint on bilateral ties with Russia.

“The new government’s viewpoint, and my and the Iranian Government’s message for the Russian leaders is that a serious and tangible leap ahead in bilateral ties need to be taken,” he added.

The foreign minister said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for further expansion of comprehensive ties with Russia speedily and logically.

He said that expansion of ties with the entire neighbors, and especially with Russia, and looking towards east are the priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran now.
