By discovered a new species of bacteria and registered it in the database of the US National Center for Biotechnology, Hamed Milani managed to receive the silver medal of the Istanbul International Inventions Fair (ISIF) 2021 World Invention Competition in Turkey.
The competition was participated by about one thousand designs and inventions of researchers from 150 countries. The event was held from September 20-26 in Istanbul. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the closing ceremony.
