Iran, Bulgarian FMs call for enhancing mutual ties

Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Bulgarian counterpart Svetlan Stoev on Tuesday urged bolstering bilateral relations.

On a telephone conversation, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s readiness for promoting cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to both sides’ historical relations, Amirabdollahian stressed the need for deepening mutual ties.

Expressing his satisfaction with the rise in the volume of trade relations, he expressed hope that trade relations will be further enhanced with joint efforts and in accordance with the capacities of the two states.

Holding a political advisory committee, holding a joint economic commission, establishing direct flights, and cooperating in the industrial, scientific, technological, and tourism sectors were among other issues discussed in the telephone conversation.
