Alireza Khazaeli said that inspectors would be in Qazvin on October 13 to inspect the latest situation of the historical complex’s global registration file, which was deferred due to the coronavirus spread.
He said that Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Bureau of Qazvin Province has seriously addressed UNESCO requirements for Sa'd al-Saltaneh Caravanserai and there was no problem for registration.
The complex is expected to attract a greater amount of international visitors after global registration.
The caravanserai also embraces a handicrafts bazaar with 230 chambers – traditional Iranian stores, which offer various types of Iranian handicrafts.
