“According to the scientific studies and adopted decisions at the Scientific Committee of the Health Ministry it was agreed that the students aged between 12 to 18 years will refer to the entire vaccination centers throughout Iran to receive their first doses of their Corona vaccines,” said Bahram Einollahi.

He said that the Health Ministry’s plan to vaccinate the students aged between 7 to 12 years, too, will start after the end of this phase.

Health, cure, and medical training minister pointing out that the entire vaccination centers must give priority to vaccinating the students, as in order to reopen the schools it is necessary that they will have prior to entering school received both doses of their coronavirus vaccines.

Dr. Einollahi once again advised the students to refer to the vaccination centers as of tomorrow (Sunday).

He said that the studies and approved vaccine presently for that age group is the Sinofarm vaccine.

“The number of vaccination centers in the country has increased 30% and now one thousand and now 90 centers are allocated throughout Iran to vaccination, and enough vaccines are provided for all of them in different province according to their population so that they can end vaccinating based on age groups,” added the health minister.
