Iranian men’s national volleyball team won the competition with China’s team 3-1 in the semifinal game of Asian Men's Volleyball Championship.
Iran’s team lost one set in today’s competition, having won all sets in its five previous games.
The win secured Iran’s presence in the finale as well as qualification for next year’s FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship in Russia.
Asian Men's Volleyball Championship is being held in Japan with 16 Asian volleyball teams competing for victory.
Iran has received two golds, two slivers and a bronze medal in the last 20 rounds of Asian championship.
