Diop sent a message to Amirabdollahian congratulating him on his appointment as Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In his message, Mali's Foreign Minister wished success to his Iranian counterpart in his new responsibility, and stressed his readiness to work to strengthen friendly relations and international cooperation between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Ministers of foreign affairs of the Republic of Madagascar and Senegal congratulated their Iranian counterpart on winning Majlis' endorsement to become Iran’s minister of foreign affairs.
