Iran, Venezuela stress reinforcing strategic ties

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a phone call with his Venezuelan counterpart Felix Plasencia emphasized strengthening strategic relations between Tehran and Caracus and drawing a road map for bilateral cooperation.

According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela,  Plasencia assured that Caracas attaches importance to strategic alliance and its cooperation with Tehran in the fields of trade, aerial communications, technology, energy and food.

He reiterated commitment to create a successful a bilateral trade path as ordered by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

He hailed Tehran and Caracas' future regarding creating job.

Meanwhile, Amir Abdollahian suggested managing bilateral cooperation road map by dispatching a delegation from Tehran to Caracas.

Earlier, Venezuela's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press statement, underlining the need for expansion of cooperation and coordination in different bilateral, regional, and international affairs.
