Tokyo, IRNA – As throwing events continue in Tokyo Paralympics, Iran’s Mehdi Owlad received the silver medal at Men’s discus throw in F11 category on Thursday.
He threw 40.60m to rank second in the category.
The other Iranian thrower Nourmohammad Arekhi threw 33.37m and failed to receive a medal.
Tokyo Paralympics began on August 24 and will continue until September 5.
Iran has so far grabbed eight gold, seven silver, and one bronze medals in the games.
