The final round of individual compound competitions took place in Yumenoshima final field in Tokyo, where Biabani defeated his Chinese rival in the semifinal and went to compete with Paralympic record keeper in men’s individual compound He Zihao.
Biabani was stopped by Zihao 147 to 143 and received silver medal which was the first Paralympic medal for Iran in compound category.
Al Xinliang from China who was defeated by Biabani in semifinal won the bronze medal.
Ali-Sina Manshaezadeh, the other Iranian para archer in the competitions, was eliminated in the 1/8 stage, losing an opportunity to win a medal.
