Iran attends Russia’s Int’l Military-Technical Forum

Tehran, IRNA – The seventh exhibition and competition of Russia’s Int’l Military-Technical Forum entitled "ARMY-2021" kicked off on Monday, attended by many officials from several countries, including Iran.

Deputy Coordinator for Iran’s Defense Ministry Brigadier General Saeed Sha'banian represents Iran and the exhibition and forum which will be on until August 28.

At the same time, international army games “Army 2021” is held in military training fields in 12 regions of Russia and Iran has also attended the competition along with several other countries.

The army games cover 34 categories. Iran, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Qatar, India, Algeria, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and Armenia have participated in the competition hosted by Russia.

The exhibition is traditionally divided into two scientific and commercial parts and is open for experts August 24-25. On August 26-28, the exhibition will be open for the public.

Over 1400 companies and organization have participated in the exhibition which will also host 138 round tables, 38 conferences, 14 briefings and 21 meetings.

The event is an environment for Russia and participating countries to showcase their defense equipment. Russia is set to sign many agreements worth 7 billion dollars.
