Isfahan, IRNA – The first day of the sixth edition of the international army games officially started in Isfahan on Monday with the competition of Iranian and Uzbek teams in the field of artillery.

The sixth edition of international army games began on Sunday in Iran’s Isfahan city, with four teams from Iran, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The competition is held from August 22 to September 3 in the category “Gunsmith Masters”.

The organizer and international referee of this competition, Colonel Mohammad Seyyedi considered the first day of competitions very important and said that today, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Uzbekistan teams would compete in  22 mm D30 artillery.

Military teams in the competition use heavy and light field artillery, air defense equipment, and personal weapons to compete in five steps.
