Iran issued 102 certificates for setting up foreign media’s bureaus

Tehran, IRNA - Iran’s Foreign Media Department of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has issued 102 certificates for establishing bureaus for foreign media in the country.

The Foreign Media Department of the Ministry has issued these certificates over the past 4 years.

The Department has also issued over 2,400 visas for foreign correspondents to cover the significant events in Iran over the same period.

The most significant accomplishments of those measures have been holding 30 press conferences of the country's officials and policymakers with resident and non-resident journalists of foreign media to elaborate on the policies and stances of the Iranian officials on important issues for foreign media.
