Although terrorism does not have the same legal definition, its common and universally agreed aspects are in all of them, including threats, intimidation, and taking the lives of innocent people to impose opinion and reach the intentions of a particular person or group.
The black history of the MKO terrorist group, which has assassinated more than 17,000 Iranian citizens and officials, is a crystal clear issue in the world, but today the West's support for the MKO has only one answer: the alignment of the goals of the MKO and the West to hit the Islamic Republic of Iran!
Some western leaders and officials have unveiled their hypocritical approach by attending the MKO group’s virtual conference, and once again showed that the seemingly beautiful western rhetoric in defense of human rights and blame for terrorism is true in a way that it does not affect their interests, in other words, some Western governments, in line with the approaches of the US, have completely double standards and behavior towards various issues, including human rights and terrorism.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a phone talk with the EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell condemned the unacceptable move of the Slovenian prime minister by attending the MKO group’s virtual conference.
The Slovenian ambassador to Tehran was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry to hear Iran’s strong objection.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh wrote on his Twitter page that "the western politicians have sold themselves at a cheap price in a US “lying-cheating-stealing” circus orchestrated once by (former US secretary of State Mike) Pompeo, that was cosponsored by both the MKO terrorists, and before them, by ousted Iraqi dictator, Saddam."
Khatibzadeh stressed that "the hands of MKO, like those of Saddam were soaked in Iranian people’s blood."
