Iran’s humanitarian anti-Corona disease aids delivered to Georgia

Tehran, IRNA – A parcel of humanitarian aides of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Republic of Georgia to fight against Corona disease was delivered on Wednesday to Georgian concerned officials at Republic Hospital of Tbilisi.

The media office of the Iranian Embassy in Tbilisi reported that in the ceremony on the occasion the Iranian Ambassador in Tbilisi, Akbar Qasemi, the representative of Tehrani and north Iranian provinces’ Armenians at Iran’s Parliament Ara Shaverdian, and Deputy Health Minister of Georgia Georgy Tsotsco Laori were present.

Qasemi referred to the historical and cultural ties between Iran and Georgia in the ceremony and the two countries’ ever expanding ties, reiterating: Corona is a shared problem for Iran and Georgia and in campaign against it, we need to cooperate.

“Fortunately, Iran has achieved good progress in campaign against the Corona pandemic, a sample of which is our technological achievement in manufacturing ventilators and the Corona recognition kits, which are delivered in the framework of Iran’s humanitarian aides to Georgia.

“Meanwhile, in the field of producing vaccines, Iran is the 6th country which has managed to produce them and gain license for its mass production,” he said.

The deputy Georgian health minister, too, appreciated Iran for sending its humanitarian parcel, saying: Forwarding this parcel from Tehran to Tbilisi shows that the nations need to stand side by side of each other for effective campaign to uproot the Coronal pandemic.

Iran’s humanitarian aides parcel is inclusive of ventilators, various types of coronal disease recognition kits, fever thermometers, blood oxygen level measurement instrument, N95 masks and antiseptic liquids, all produced by science-based Iranian companies.

Introduction of these products can meanwhile pave the path for introduction of those Iranian science-based companies to the regional countries, especially in the field related to campaign against Corona.
